BIG TEX FILLET KNIFE

Details: This is a BIG fillet knife with an over all length of
16" and a 11" cutting edge, and1/16" thick. This is a cryogenic
treated stainless steel blade ( dipped in liquid nitrogen -305 degrees
for several hours ) to enhance edge quality. Perfect for those big
fish like reds, cobia, wahoo and darado.

You can choose your antler handle from Axis, Fallow, Whitetail, Blackbuck,
Mule Deer or Bull Elk antlers. Just about any animal, fish or bird can be reproduced in scrimshaw on the handle. Handles are sent to Montana for art work;
art work and round trip shipping is reason for $35 charge. Blackbuck handle is $35 extra.

All handles have at least three coats of clear gloss poly-urethane.

This is to protect the handle from weathering and blood

from any animal you may harvest. Poly-urethane in a satin is
also available.

PAYMENT AND ORDERING DETAILS

I will accept personal checks, money orders and of course, good ol' cash. Because I am a small knife maker, I don't accept credit cards or Paypal as they would charge me and the cost of your knife would go up. I just like to keep it simple and after I deposit your check or money order and it clears my bank, then I'll make your knife and send it to you. This generally takes about three weeks for you to get your knife. If I have a great deal of orders, like Christmas orders, I will tell you when and if delivery time is moved back. I want all of my customers to get their knives on time when I tell them it will be there.

AN INTRODUCTION TO TEXAS DEERSLAYER KNIVES

     Texas Deerslayer Knives is a maker of custom hunting, fillet and display knives in Spring, Texas. My name is Bob and started making knives for my family and friends a few years ago. They loved them and I enjoyed making them so much that I decided to start making them for the hunter, fisherman and collector. I use blades from the best steel I can find such as: 420, 440C, 6A stainless steel, Rockwell C 59 to 62 hardness carbon steel, Soligen, Swedish, Norwegian, Japan and Damascus steel. My knives are the hidden tang type with handles made from Whitetail, Mule Deer, Axis Deer, Fallow Deer, Red Stag and Bull Elk antler sheds. These knives will last you a life time, stay sharp and won't let you down. You can pay big bucks for a custom one of a kind knife but my knives price from $35 on up but most are $115. I make custom leather sheaths, although I have nylon ones also, that you can choose from. I make them plain as you want on up to putting a basket weave design with your initials on it. My display stands are hand made from the plain one to the ever popular Rattlesnake stand. My other products include antler pistol handles, euro lamps and belt buckles.
